Very often, when you have experienced Abandonment Issues, these feelings of loneliness and emptiness start to manifest. It is particulary common when there has been a lack in relationships, difficult relationship experiences or a fear of intimacy. This plays out in all of your relationships, whether they be love relationships, family or friends. Perhaps you don't realise that you push people away.
